Click on style when it comes to laptop
totes
By Kara G. Morrison
If you own a laptop computer,
you already know that finding a stylish computer bag is about as
easy as sunbathing in Michigan this time of year.
Gladly, a few companies such as Casauri are filling the void. The
New Jersey firm started when co-founder and then-M.B.A student Emily
McHugh turned to her fashion-designer sister for a palatable tote.
Today, the 30-something sisters boast the first laptop bag ever
sold at the Museum of Modern Art Design Store in Manhattan.
Women tell us they look all over for something that is
not masculine, McHugh says. Theres definitely
a trend for this.
Here are places to find
laptop bags with
pizzazz:
* Casauris bags are stylish and affordable. The futuristic
Odyssey, made of quilted PVC, starts
at $65, while the compact Omni which
comes in fun colors like kiwi and pink starts at $88. You
can find them at www.casauri.com or www.pinklap
topcase.com.
